Right about now we should never stress about our batteries being low, whether it’s a smartphone, your iPad or whatever that needs to be charged whenever we are flying to our destination.
Introducing the Quirky Ray Powered Energy Charger. Now you can charge whatever you want to charge just using something from the Mother Nature, which is the sun!
A company/distributor known as Quirky, which puts devices from independent inventors to the spotlight, has the Ray on their catalogue. The Ray is different than most chargers as it has a very powerful suction cup to hold it to where the sun shines the most: on glass. It also has a tilting kickstand that supports multiple positions to capture the sun.
The Ray has a compact battery that can store enough energy to fully charge a cellular phone. It has a USB port for easy charging, and these USB cords can be tucked for storage into the kickstand when folded closed.
I will have to admit what sold me on this Ray is how it can cling to an airplane window. Considering that you will have your cellular phone in airplane mode anyway, you might as well take advantage of the downtime and charge it. Hopefully, the passengers next to you won’t think it is rude if you block their view.

First off- I love this blog, my name reveals all! Hehe! I’m a 21st century babe and used to work in a call center, the hours are hectic (so was the partying)! This gadget right here is the future for all people ‘busy!’ Place it on the window near you and ‘walla’ charged battery for DAYZz! SIT DOWN! Lol! Yes as a 20_sumin year old this comes in very handy for those days when you step into the house @ 5 and out @ 7, when you are ‘road trippin’ and for those long dayz @ the office! Our future has to be green if we want one! I’m smiling from here to Toronto for eonz! ‘Big Upz!’

I like it too.It’s a great invention! I’m sure that when this device,becomes available in South Africa,we’ll know about it.I also wish S.A. can start using,the sun’s energy to produce electricity.Good bye ESKOM,hallo sun!
hahaha!! Eskom is here to stay here though. But sooner or later, we’ll be relying on earth’s resources and not Eskom. How cool would that be!!!

Yes,that would be cool.We are in the 21st century already,we should be using alternative sources of energy: the sun,wind etc.
